The World Plumbing Conference 2026 has unveiled The IPG as its newest sponsor.

Taking place on 23-25 June at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham during InstallerSHOW, the 14th World Plumbing Conference will bring together global plumbing leaders, innovators and industry experts under the theme of ‘Worldwide Problems – Global Solutions’.

Independent businesses have always shaped this industry. But independence doesn’t mean standing alone.

The IPG was founded in 2013 to give independent plumbing merchants and bathroom showrooms the strength to compete while staying completely in control of who they are. By combining serious buying power with professional marketing, digital tools and commercial support, The IPG helps independents protect margin, grow stronger and compete with confidence.

Renowned TV personality and The IPG Brand Ambassador Mark Millar will be joining the World Plumbing Conference agenda for a discussion on ‘The Role of Independent Merchants in Driving Local Innovation and Skills’ at 4:30 PM on Tuesday 23 June.

Nike Lovell, Marketing Director at The IPG, said:

“The IPG is proud to sponsor the World Plumbing Conference 2026, taking place alongside InstallerSHOW."

“Independent merchants and bathroom showrooms are the backbone of the plumbing and heating sector, combining local knowledge with trusted service and stock availability that installers depend on every day. They don’t just keep projects moving; they also help bring new products to market, share best practice and support training and skills development in their communities.

“This partnership gives us a valuable platform to champion our independent members, strengthen connections with suppliers and peers, while playing an active role in the conversations shaping the future of plumbing and heating.”

Lindsey Coleman, Event Project Manager at World Plumbing Conference 2026, said:

“We are thrilled to have The IPG sponsor the World Plumbing Conference.

“Independent merchants play an important role in ensuring positive outcomes for tradespeople and end-users, and the IPG’s involvement in this year’s event will help put a spotlight on the great work of its members and how they are shaping the future of the plumbing industry.”
